The incident echoes a previous occurrence from the club's last season. On December 5th of last year, a Friday morning, local law enforcement detained former Almeria player Aridane Hernandez following a positive breathalyzer test after an accident. It is established that he collided with three parked vehicles, subsequently smashing his black Porsche Cayenne into the entrance of his residential complex. Hernandez was later released and was able to participate in a morning training session with the team, yet ultimately departed from Almeria during the winter transfer window.
